McLean is located along the Potomac River to the northwest of Arlington.
It is about 20 minutes from downtown DC by car with I-66, the George Washington Parkway, and Old Dominion Drive as main commuting routes. It’s adjacent to Tysons Corner — a major commercial district. McLean also has its own Metro stop on the Silver Line, which travels west to Dulles Airport and east to Arlington and DC. The Beltway provides access north into Maryland and south toward Alexandria.

Unfortunately, Annandale is not served by any Metro stations. However, the Dunn Loring and Springfield Metro stations are a short drive away. Additionally, Annandale is served by bus lines along Route 50 and Little River Turnpike. By car, DC is accessible by Route 50 and Route 66.
The Woodson High School pyramid is one of the most sought-after in Northern Virginia. Within that, Mantua Elementary School is extremely sought after.

Truro also offers excellent schools with a housing stock that is more midcentury modern.
