It’s difficult to put a label on The Astoria’s architecture. It’s not quite traditional, colonial or modern. We might consider it neo-Medieval transitional. And about those turrets? A limited number of the Astoria’s condo units have bedrooms located inside the turrets. Quite unique, these bedrooms have round walls and windows extending 270 degrees around the edges of the room.

RealtyPeople’s listing is a studio condominium unit that has been completely renovated with a new kitchen, bath, flooring, and paint. And the popcorn ceiling (once popular in the 1980s) has been removed. The condo does include a washer / dryer in-unit, a balcony, and a parking space in the garage.
Finding a modern Arlington condominium with in-unit washer / dryer for under $300,000 is difficult. The unit could be ideal for a buyer who lives past the outskirts of the Washington area but would appreciate a pied-a-terre to stay in during the work week.
